Slide the hook between the jaws, rotate in any screws or release the lever at an auto-tensioner, that´s what every fly tyer knows. This system here works significantly different!
The hook will be inserted through a small hole in forged and hardened steel. Now, by means of a spindle, a steel needle moves, exerts pressure on the hook. The hook is clamped between the needle and the hole wall
It is unbelievable, how much space wins the flytier through this bracket around the hook. There is nothing that disturb you during the tying process in some way, nothing hang around or stuck. The idea is holding the hook in a steel eye by adding pressure against the eye with a steel pin, is new. It holds hooks between size 6/0 and 18 perfectly. For those of you who deal a lot with large hooks, there is a bigger head as accessories.

For someone who wants to take "emergency equipment" in a small space, it is advisable to pack the head alone. Did we formerly held the hook relatively shaky with one hand, it is with this head no great feat more. It's not intended for fly tying of series, but just in case.
